Doug Fipps is the head pro at Delaware Springs. Doug chose golf as his favorite sport as a teenager and the business of Golf as a career after college. Golf has been a love affair for Doug. A four-year letterman at Friendswood High School, just south of Houston Texas, and playing college golf four years prepared him for the challenges of Golf as a career. The golf fast track had Doug as assistant pro at Clear Creek Golf Course in Houston, then Forest Creek in Round Rock Texas and today as head pro at Delaware Springs Golf Course in Burnet Texas.

Doug is a PGA Certified Teaching Professional and enjoys the rewards of assisting serious golfers become the best they can be. Maintaining an edge himself, Doug participates is 10 plus professional tournaments annually for the competition and sharing experiences with fellow pros.
